We comply with the regulations, directives and the laws
in each country where we do business.
REGNER® products are subjected to rigorous test procedures to ensure reliable operation in applications and environments anywhere in the world.
This standard defines the procedures for evaluating the electrical safety, as well as the electrical immunity, necessary to obtain linear actuators that are reliable, safe and free of electromagnetic interference.
In the climatic tests, the actuators are subjected to extreme temperatures to check that they maintain full functionality and that they are capable of withstanding sudden changes in temperature.
A large majority of REGNER® linear actuators are used in medical devices.
For this reason, many of our actuators have been certified according to this standard, which relates to electromedical equipment. We carry out the electrostatic discharge (ESD) tests needed to meet the standard along with electromagnetic compatibility tests at 8kV to ensure that our actuators are both reliable and safe.
This standard establishes how to classify the degrees of protection provided by the casings that protect the electrical materials of the actuators. In this protection test, the dust and water resistance of the electric actuators is taken into account.
REGNER® carries out tests to analyse possible fatigue problems on all types of components. We also perform tests under different load conditions to determine the resistance of our actuators
REGNER® is committed to compliance with the RoHS2 2011/65/EC directive for the restriction of certain hazardous substances in the European Union. This directive is an update of the previous RoHS directive 2002/95/EC and is aimed at reducing the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. All REGNER® products comply with the RoHS2 directive.
REGNER® is committed to complying with the requirements of the WEEE 2012/19/EU directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment. The WEEE directive requires manufacturers of electrical and electronic equipment to properly label said equipment and to ensure that their products are properly disposed of or recycled at the end of their useful life.
Compliance with the WEEE directive
REGNER® is committed to complying with the European REACH 1907/2006 regulation on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemical Substances and Preparations in its entirety and to working on this in close collaboration with suppliers and customers. This statement is part of our policy to keep our customers fully informed on our commitment to the REACH regulation.
