The RA-44 MAP (Marine Autopilot) linear actuator is a robust solution designed to operate tiller drive boat systems. It integrates easily into the steering systems of any pleasure boat with up to 3.000 lb (6.614 lb) displacement and continuously corrects the boat’s direction with information provided by the compass, wind transducers or GPS. The RA-44 MAP is, therefore, one of the most satisfying improvements for pleasure boats.
Smooth and accurate movement control
El RA-44 MAP is a linear actuator that provides smooth and accurate movement control. By keeping the boat as close as possible to your intended travel path, you save both time and fuel. The actuator compensates for changes caused by wind and tide preventing the sailor from constantly having to correct the boat's course.
IP66 protection level
The RA-44 MAP has an IP66 protection level that guarantees full protection against the penetration of any solid body, as well as protection against flooding and, ultimately, against sea swells: this actuator has been developed to work in the most adverse conditions.
High performance ball screw
The actuator is fitted with a ball screw that converts rotary motion into linear motion with low friction losses, resulting in high performance and a long life. 
IP66 protection level
which guarantees watertightness and protection against sea swells. 
Anodised aluminium housing
which guarantees strong protection against corrosion and high resistance to abrasion.
