Snowplow
In winter, snowplows are responsible for making roads and paths safe, removing snow from hundreds of kilometres each day and spreading salt to prevent the formation of ice. That’s why they need automatic and effective regulation systems that provide them with maximum efficiency.
Perfect adjustment of the bucket to remove as much snow as possible
Compared to bulky and expensive hydraulic systems, high power density linear actuators are built into snowplow buckets to perform various regulating functions. Using a system of actuators, the operator can adjust the tilt of the bucket to each side, as well as the elevation, to obtain the best result in each pass.
The linear actuator system can also be integrated into the salt deposits to adjust the amount that is deposited on each section of road and subsequently prevent the formation of ice without wasting material.
