REGNER® obtains Sustainability Program for its new facilities

REGNER® has just expanded its facilities with a new industrial building of more than 2,000 square meters, adjacent to its main facilities in Aiguaviva, Girona.
During the design and development of the refurbishment of the facilities to bring them up to the company’s quality standards, sustainability has been one of the key issues. Only the most sustainable, efficient and environmentally friendly materials and equipment have been selected to be part of the REGNER® industrial infrastructure.
For this reason, the company has been recognized with the Sustainability Program for SMEs of the Chambers of Commerce of Spain, the objective of which is to improve the productivity and competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises with the adoption of a culture in favor of permanent innovation to achieve sustainable economic growth through actions related to energy efficiency, the reduction of the carbon footprint, the circular economy and the 2030 Agenda.
The Chamber of Commerce experts conducted a comprehensive analysis of REGNER® and its activities, including a carbon footprint calculation, an energy efficiency study and a circular economy analysis. The program, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), focused on the implementation of the most efficient technologies in the company’s new facilities, which will drastically reduce the environmental footprint and increase production efficiency.
Regner Engineering SLU has been a beneficiary of the European Regional Development Fund, whose objective is to improve the use and quality of information and communications technologies and access to them, and thanks to which it has implemented improvements in operating and production processes that allow it to increase its environmental sustainability to improve the company’s competitiveness and productivity.
