We provide

safety and reliability

REGNER® provides safe products that contain no unauthorised prohibited substances. Products that are respectful to human health, safe, and environmentally friendly are key to our understanding of sustainable development. Starting at the supply chain, we make sure our providers supply components and materials compliant with applicable legislation as well as established environmental limit values.

We comply with the regulations, directives, and laws of each of the countries where we develop our business activities. Thus, REGNER® contributes to the protection of human health, safety, and the environment.

REGNER® products undergo rigorous testing procedures and verification processes to guarantee their reliability and functionality in applications and environments worldwide.

Electrical testing compliant with the EN 61000-6-1,2,3,4 standards

These standards define the procedures used to evaluate electrical safety, as well as the electrical immunity required to produce linear actuators that are reliable, safe, and free of electromagnetic interference.

Environmental testing compliant with the EN 60068-2-1,2,11,14,56 standards

During environmental testing actuators are subject to extreme temperatures in order to ascertain that they are capable of maintaining their full functionality and withstanding sudden changes in temperature.

Testing of the ingress protection ratings provided by enclosures in compliance with the EN 60529 standards

These standards establish how to classify the degree of protection provided by the enclosures that shield the actuators’ electrical materials. In this kind of protection testing, we evaluate the resistance of electric actuators to dust and water.

Fatigue and durability tests for all components in benches developed in-house

REGNER® carries out fatigue tests in benches developed in-house to analyse possible fatigue issues on all kinds of components. We also test a variety of loading conditions to establish our actuators’ resistance based on a variable number of cycles defined by the needs of the target application.

Electrical testing in compliance with the EN 60601-1-2 standards

A vast majority of the linear actuators developed by REGNER® are included in medical devices. As a consequence, many of our actuators have been certified according to these standards, which deal with medical electrical equipment (Medical electrical equipment – Part 1-2: General requirements for basic safety and essential performance – Collateral Standard: Electromagnetic disturbances – Requirements and tests).

The increase of medical electrical devices and its expanding comunications are creating a growing interest for Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) everywhere. Because of this, REGNER® carries out the necessary electrostatic discharge (ESD) tests to meet the mentioned standards, and also electromagnetic compatibility tests at 8 kV to guarantee that our actuators are reliable and safe at all times, as required by the regulations.

REGNER® offers wheelchair manufacturers the certifications of our actuators according to this standard to facilitate their homologation processes.

REGNER® works hard to comply with the updates of the various directives applicable to its motion control solutions. These directives include:

REGNER® is committed to complying with the RoHS2 2011/65/EC directive on the restriction of certain hazardous substances in the European Union. This directive is an update of the previous RoHS directive 2002/95/EC and is aimed at reducing the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. All REGNER® products are RoHS2 compliant.

REGNER® is committed to complying with the requirements of the WEEE 2012/19/EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment. The WEEE directive requires manufacturers of electrical and electronic equipment to label their equipment properly and to ensure that their products are disposed of or properly recycled at the end of their service life.

REGNER® is committed to complying with the European REACH Regulation 1907/2006 on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals in its entirety and to work towards this in close collaboration with suppliers and customers. This statement is part of our policy to keep customers fully informed of our commitment to REACH.
