Robust positioning with a security system
A manufacturer of meat machinery came to us to help them improve their deboning machine for cured hams. They needed an actuator to place pieces for boning with a safety system that would allow operators to determine the beginning and the end of the stroke. In addition, the actuator had to offer a high level of protection to withstand high-pressure spray washing.
To meet their demands, we created a linear actuator with magnetic safety sensors. The RA44 is the ideal choice for applications that need to monitor their processes. In this case, the actuator provides greater flexibility to operators in terms of ease of use, given that they can control the whole lineal movement. The stainless steel sensors are perfect for food processing systems because of their thermal stability and their resistance to detergents.

Greater ergonomics for refrigerated display cabinets
A manufacturer of catering equipment asked for the design and manufacture of a linear actuator system with its corresponding control system meant for opening and closing commercial display cabinets through precise and safe motion.
Our engineering team came up with a system in which two actuators move simultaneously and smoothly to avoid any vibration or torsion thanks to a control box that guarantees highly reliable synchronization and includes an anti-trapping system for greater user safety.

COMPACT MOTION FOR VENDING MACHINES
A manufacturer of vending machines required a very compact actuator model to integrate into the design of a food vending machine.
Because of its features and low price, we considered that integrating the RA-MINI actuator in the application was the better option. Thus, each time a consumer chooses their desired product number, the machine’s control system activates the drive, which will move the corresponding coil in which the product is located. That 360º turn will cause, first, that the food product moves towards the collection area where it can be picked up, and, second, that each item in that row of products advances one position.
